On 9/2/26, HFSRB's rules regarding the Cardiac Catheterization category of service were updated. The changes include revising utilization standards, updating peer review requirements, amending physician referrals, changing the unnecessary duplication of service criterion, and establishing new accreditation standards. In addition, the rules associated with the Organ Transplant and Kidney Transplant categories of service, the Subacute Care Hospital Model, and the Children's Respite Care Center Alternative Health Care Mode  were repealed. These changes were published in the September 18th edition of the Illinois Register. NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC HEARING

By the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act requirements, notice is given of the receipt of an application for exemption for a change of ownership of Duly Surgery Center Westmont, 815 Pasquinelli Drive, Westmont, Illinois (#E-027-24). This change of ownership is considered a stock transfer, resulting in no change from the current licensee. The licensee will be DMG Surgical Center, LLC d/b/a Duly Surgery Center Westmont, and the site's owner will be HSRE Chicago Prostate MOB, LLC. The Applicants are DMG Surgical Center, LLC d/b/a Duly Surgery Center Westmont, Surgery Center Holdings, Inc. Surgery Partners, Inc., and DuPage Medical Group LTD. The purchase price is $39,972,108. The expected completion date is December 31, 2024.

This exemption application was called substantially complete on September 30, 2024. Written requests (no emails or faxes will be accepted) for a public hearing must be received by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board no later than October 14, 2024.
