On 9/2/26, HFSRB's rules regarding the Cardiac Catheterization category of service were updated. The changes include revising utilization standards, updating peer review requirements, amending physician referrals, changing the unnecessary duplication of service criterion, and establishing new accreditation standards. In addition, the rules associated with the Organ Transplant and Kidney Transplant categories of service, the Subacute Care Hospital Model, and the Children's Respite Care Center Alternative Health Care Mode  were repealed. These changes were published in the September 18th edition of the Illinois Register. NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC HEARING

Following the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act requirements, notice is hereby given of the receipt of an application for exemption for a change of ownership of NANI Vascular North ASC, LLC, 2055 Army Trail Road #120, Addison, Illinois (#E-014-25).  The transaction is considered a change of ownership among related persons, resulting in a license being issued to an entity different from the current licensee.  NANI Vascular North ASC is currently wholly owned by Nephrology Associates of Northern Illinois. Ltd. ("NANI"). NANI is also the sole owner of Willow Springs Surgery Center. LLC ("Willow Springs") and NANI Vascular ASC, LLC ("NANI Vascular).  This transaction involves the insertion of NANI Vascular and Willow Springs into the facility ownership. The facility will operate as a single specialty ambulatory surgical treatment center, providing vascular access services and general surgical procedures that support the vascular health of ESRD patients.  There will be no other changes to the facility or impact on prospective patients.

This exemption application was called substantially complete on September 11, 2025.  Written requests (no emails or faxes will be accepted) for a public hearing must be received by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board by September 26, 2025.    The Application can be viewed at the offices of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board at the address below or the State Board’s website https://hfsrb.illinois.gov/
