NOTICE OF REVIEW AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT

In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of receipt to expand/modernize outpatient services at a Medical Office Building (MOB), in Chicago. Project #26-040, The University of Chicago Medical Center-River East, Chicago. Applicant: The University of Chicago Medical Center. The applicant proposes to expand/modernize Imaging space, Infusion space, Pharmacy space, and Patient exam/Patient waiting areas. The MOB is located at 355 East Grand Avenue, Chicago. Project cost: $23,914,610.

The application was declared complete on September 2, 2026. A copy of the application may be viewed at the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board Office at the address below. Requests for hearings must be received by this Agency no later than September 17, 2026. Any person wanting to submit written comments on this project must submit these comments by November 25, 2026. The State Board will post its findings in a State Board Staff Report, which will be made available on the internet on December 1, 2026. The public may submit written responses in support of or in opposition to the findings of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board.
