NOTICE OF REVIEW AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT
In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of receipt to initiate a modernization/expansion project on the campus of an acute care hospital in Oak Lawn. Project #26-019, Advocate Christ Medical Center, Oak Lawn. Applicants: Advocate Health, Inc., Advocate Auroral Health, Inc., and Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation d/b/a Advocate Christ Medical Center. The applicants propose to add 22 Medical/Surgical Beds to its bed complement, and relocate its Cardio-Diagnostics, Inpatient Dialysis, and Inpatient Nuclear Medicine units to the ground level, at its hospital located at 4440 West 95th Street, Oak Lawn. Project cost: $40,011,558.

Requests for hearings must be received by this Agency no later than May 6, 2026. Any person wanting to submit written comments on this project must submit these comments by July 1, 2026. The State Board will post its findings in a State Board Staff Report, which will be made available online on July 7, 2026. The public may submit written responses in support of or in opposition to the findings of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board. The public will have until 9:00 am, July 13, 2026.
