NOTICE OF REVIEW AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT

In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of receipt to convert beds from Sheltered Care to Long Term Care service at an existing Long Term Care Facility in Belleville. Project #26-014, St. Paul’s Senior Living Community, Belleville. Applicants: St. Paul’s Senior Living Community, LLC, and St. Paul’s Property, LLC. The applicants propose converting 26 sheltered care beds to 22 long-term care beds at their Long-Term Care facility located at 1021 West E Street, Belleville. Project cost: $121,000.  The application was declared complete on April 20, 2026. A copy of the application may be viewed at the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board Office, at the address below. Consideration by the State Board has been tentatively scheduled for the July 21, 2026, State Board Meeting. Requests for hearings must be received by this Agency no later than May 6, 2026. Any person wanting to submit written comments on this project must submit these comments by July 1, 2026.  The State Board will post its findings in a State Board Staff Report, which will be made available on the internet on July 7, 2026. The public may submit written responses in support of or in opposition to the findings of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board. The public will have until 9:00 am, July 13, 2026.
