NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC HEARING

Under the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of the receipt of an application for exemption from a change of ownership of Franciscan Health Olympia Fields, a 214-bed hospital located at 20201 South Crawford Avenue, Olympia Fields, Illinois (E-001-26). This change of ownership is considered a purchase, resulting in the issuance of a license to an entity different from the current licensee. The fair market value of the transaction is $6,950,000. The Applicants are Franciscan Alliance, Inc., Franciscan Alliance, Inc. d/b/a Franciscan Health Olympia Fields, Olympia Fields Hospital, LLC, and Prime Healthcare Services, Inc. The licensee and operating entity will be Olympia Fields Hospital, LLC.  

This exemption application was called substantially complete on January 21, 2026. Written requests (no emails or faxes will be accepted) for a public hearing must be received by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board no later than February 5, 2026.    The Application can be viewed at the offices of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board at the address below, or at the State Board’s website https://hfsrb.illinois.gov/
