NOTICE OF REVIEW AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT

Per the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act [20 ILCS 3960/], notice is given of receipt to expand Cardiac Catheterization services at an existing acute care hospital in Bolingbrook.  Project #25-015, UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, Bolingbrook.  Applicants:  Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital d/b/a UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, Adventist Health System Sunbelt Healthcare Corporation d/b/a AdventHealth, Adventist Health System/Sunbelt Inc., and The University of Chicago Medical Center.  The Applicants propose to construct a new building on the hospital campus to house its expanded Cardiac Catheterization program and other non-clinical support services.  The hospital is located at 500 Remington Boulevard, Bolingbrook.  Project cost: $21,625,782.

The application was deemed substantially complete on April 4, 2025. A copy of the application may be viewed at the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board (HFSRB) Office at the address below. HFSRB staff must receive requests for hearings by April 21, 2025. The public may also submit written comments on this project. All public written comments must be received by June 4, 2025. HFSRB will post its findings in a HFSRB Staff Report, which will be available via the Internet on June 10, 2025. The public may submit written responses in support of or in opposition to the findings of the HFSRB staff.
