26-012 Touchette Regional Hospital - Establishment

NOTICE OF REVIEW AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT

Per the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act [20 ILCS 3960/], notice is given of receipt to establish an acute care hospital in Cahokia Heights.  Project #26-012, Touchette Regional Hospital, Cahokia Heights.  Applicants: Southern Illinois Health Care Foundation, Inc. d/b/a SIHF Healthcare, and Touchette Regional Hospital, Inc. d/b/a Touchette Regional Hospital.  The Applicants propose to establish a 108-bed acute-care hospital located at 1928 Sandy Ridge Road, Cahokia Heights.  Project cost: $231,000,000.

The application contained a Safety Net Impact Statement and was deemed substantially complete on March 9, 2026. A copy of the application may be viewed at the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board (HFSRB) Office at the address below. HFSRB staff must receive requests for hearings by March 24, 2026. The public may also submit written comments on this project. All public written comments must be received by July 1, 2026.  HFSRB will post its findings in an HFSRB Staff Report, which will be available via the Internet on July 7, 2026. The public may submit written responses in support of or in opposition to the findings of the HFSRB staff.
