On 9/2/26, HFSRB's rules regarding the Cardiac Catheterization category of service were updated. The changes include revising utilization standards, updating peer review requirements, amending physician referrals, changing the unnecessary duplication of service criterion, and establishing new accreditation standards. In addition, the rules associated with the Organ Transplant and Kidney Transplant categories of service, the Subacute Care Hospital Model, and the Children's Respite Care Center Alternative Health Care Mode  were repealed. These changes were published in the September 18th edition of the Illinois Register. NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC HEARING

Following the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act requirements, notice is hereby given of the receipt of an application for exemption for a change of ownership of THE REAL ESTATE housing Hauser Ross Eye Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center, 2515 Klein Road, Sycamore, Illinois (#E-016-25).    The sale or transfer of the physical plant and related assets of a healthcare facility does not result in a change of the current licensee. The fair market value of the transaction is $3,322,000. The Applicants are Welltower OM Group LLC, Welltower, Inc., Sycamore 1630 MP WRK7, LLC, KAREP VII Reit, LLC. The owner of the site is Sycamore 1630 MP WRK7, LLC. The licensee is DeKalb Surgical Services, LLC. The expected completion date is October 9, 2025.
