NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT  AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of the receipt of an application for exemption to discontinue the 8-bed intensive care category of service at Carle Health Pekin Hospital, 600 S. 13th St., Pekin, Illinois (#E-002-26). The Applicants are The Carle Foundation d/b/a Carle Health and Pekin Memorial Hospital d/b/a Carle Health Pekin Hospital. The expected completion date is within 90 days of Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board approval.  

This exemption application was deemed substantially complete on January 26, 2026. Written requests (no emails or faxes will be accepted) for a public hearing must be received by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board no later than February 10, 2026.
