NOTICE OF REVIEW AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT

In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of receipt to establish a Medical Office Building (MOB) in Effingham. Project #25-001, Effingham Medical Office Building, Effingham. Applicants: Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center and Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System. The applicants propose establishing a two-story Medical Office Building in 39,946 GSF of newly constructed space at 900 North Maple Street, Effingham. Project cost: $28,093,000.

The application was declared complete on January 9, 2025. A copy of the application may be viewed at the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board Office at the address below. Requests for hearings must be received by this Agency no later than January 24, 2025. Any person wanting to submit written comments on this project must submit these comments by June 4, 2025.

The State Board will post its findings in a State Board Staff Report, available online, on June 10, 2025. The public may submit written responses in support of or in opposition to the findings of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board. The public will have until 9:00 am, June 16, 2025.
