On 9/2/26, HFSRB's rules regarding the Cardiac Catheterization category of service were updated. The changes include revising utilization standards, updating peer review requirements, amending physician referrals, changing the unnecessary duplication of service criterion, and establishing new accreditation standards. In addition, the rules associated with the Organ Transplant and Kidney Transplant categories of service, the Subacute Care Hospital Model, and the Children's Respite Care Center Alternative Health Care Mode  were repealed. These changes were published in the September 18th edition of the Illinois Register. NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC HEARING

Under the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of the receipt of an application for an exemption to change the ownership of UroPartners Surgery Center, LLC, the entity that owns an ambulatory surgical treatment center (ASTC) (E-015-26). UroPartners, LLC, will remain the owner of UroPartners Surgery Center after the transaction. The change is in the ownership of UroPartners, LLC. From a patient perspective, ASTC's operations will remain unchanged, with the same service categories and physicians providing care post-transaction. There will be no changes to the governing body or operations of the ASTC. The completion date is January 1, 2027.

The Applicants are UroPartners Surgery Center, LLC, UroPartners, LLC; Alliance Physician Services, PC f/k/a The Centers for Advanced Urology, LLP, James Jerome Weber, Rajesh Patel, Jonathon Casey Chapman, and James Abram McBride. The licensee and operating entity will be UroPartners Surgery Center, LLC, and the site owner will be UroPartners Real Estate, LLC.

This exemption application was deemed substantially complete on July 6, 2026. Written requests for a public hearing (no emails or faxes will be accepted) must be received by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board by July 21, 2026.
