NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - NORTHWESTERN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL -DEMOLITION

LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND OPPORTUNITY FOR WRITTEN COMMENT

In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act and 77 Illinois Adm. Code Part 1130, Notice is given of a Public Hearing on an application for a permit for a proposed demolition (Project #26-003) from Northwestern Healthcare and Northwestern Memorial Hospital for the demolition at 330 East Erie Street, Chicago, Illinois, at a cost of approximately $51.3 million.  The site is intended for a proposed patient tower on the campus of Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The Public Hearing is to be held by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board pursuant to the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act.  The Hearing is open to the public and will afford an opportunity for parties of interest to present written and/or verbal comments relevant to the project.  All allegations or assertions should be relevant to the need for the proposed project and supported by two copies of documentation or materials printed or typed on 8 1/2" by 11" paper.  For additional information, call (217) 782-3516.
