NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT  AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC HEARING

Under the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of the receipt of an application for an exemption to change the ownership of Marion Healthcare Surgery Center, 3003 Civic Circle Blvd. Marion, Illinois (E-005-26).  This change of ownership is considered a stock change resulting in no change in the current licensee. The fair market value of the transaction is $8,817,000.

Deaconess Regional Healthcare Services, Illinois, Inc. will acquire 100% of the interest in Marion HealthCare L.L.C. The purchase price for the surgery center is $8,817,000. Deaconess Regional Healthcare Services, Illinois, Inc., will also acquire the real estate on which the surgery center is located. The transaction will not result in a change in the licensee. The surgery center will continue to be licensed by Marion HealthCare L.L.C. Following the transaction, it will be named Deaconess Illinois Surgery Center Marion.  The Applicants are Marion Healthcare L.L.C. and Deaconess Regional Healthcare Services, Illinois, Inc. The licensee and operating entity will be Marion Healthcare L.L.C., and the site owner will be Deaconess Regional Healthcare Services, Illinois, Inc. 

This exemption application was called substantially complete on May 13, 2026.  Written requests for a public hearing (no emails or faxes will be accepted) must be received by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board by May 28, 2026.    The Application can be viewed at the offices of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board at the address below, or at the State Board’s website https://hfsrb.illinois.gov/
