NOTICE OF REVIEW AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT

By the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, Notice is given of a Modification of an Application for a Permit for the proposed construction of a 10-bed Hospital (Project # 24-018 NorthPointe Neighborhood Hospital) from Beloit Health System, Inc., Beloit, Wisconsin. The Applicant proposes to change the address of the proposed Hospital to 5605 East Rockton Road, Suite 101, Roscoe, Illinois, and increase the cost of the proposed Hospital from $20,760,312 to $21,312,458, an increase of $552,146. The anticipated project completion date is August 31, 2028.

The Application is considered a Type A Modification and was modified on December 31, 2024, and is tentatively scheduled for the March 18, 2025, State Board Meeting. Any person wanting a public hearing on the proposed project must submit a written request for such hearing to:

The State Board must receive requests for a hearing by January 17, 2025. Anyone wanting to submit written comments on this project must do so by February 26, 2025. The State Board will post its findings in a State Board Staff Report, which will be made available via the Internet on March 4, 2025. The public may submit written responses in support of or in opposition to the findings of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board. The public will have until 9:00 am, March 10, 2025.
