NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC HEARING

Under the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of the receipt of an application for an exemption to change the ownership of Marion Healthcare Surgery Center, 3003 Civic Circle Blvd. Marion, Illinois (E-013-26). This change of ownership is considered a purchase, resulting in the issuance of a license to an entity other than the current licensee. The fair market value of the transaction is $8,817,000.

Deaconess Illinois Surgery Center Marion, Inc., proposes to acquire the assets of Marion HealthCare Surgery Center located at 3003 Civic Circle Blvd., Marion, IL 62959. The surgery center is currently wholly owned by Marion HealthCare LLC. Deaconess Regional Healthcare Services, Illinois, Inc., will acquire the ASTC building and ASTC real estate and lease both to Deaconess Illinois Surgery Center, Marion, Inc.

The Applicants are Marion Healthcare L.L.C., Deaconess Regional Healthcare Services, Illinois, Inc., and Deaconess Illinois Surgery Center Marion, Inc. The licensee and operating entity will be Deaconess Illinois Surgery Center Marion, Inc., and the site owner will be Deaconess Regional Healthcare Services, Illinois, Inc.

This exemption application was called substantially complete on July 6, 2026. Written requests for a public hearing (no emails or faxes will be accepted) must be received by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board by July 21, 2026.
