LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND OPPORTUNITY FOR WRITTEN COMMENT

In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act and 77 Illinois Adm. Code Part 1130, notice is given of a Public Hearing on an application from Northwestern Healthcare and Northwestern Memorial Hospital for the expansion of the surgical suite and support services, including central sterile supply, pathology lab, and staff support areas, on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors of the Feinberg/Galter Pavilion, 251 East Huron Street, Chicago, Illinois (Project #26-005). The cost of the project is approximately $265 million.  

The Hearing will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, beginning

at 12:00 PM at 69 West Washington Street,

Chicago, Illinois.

The Public Hearing is to be held by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board pursuant to the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act. The Hearing is open to the public and will provide an opportunity for interested parties to present written and/or oral comments relevant to the project. All allegations or assertions should be relevant to the need for the proposed project and supported by two copies of documentation or materials printed or typed on 8 1/2" by 11" paper, for additional information call (217) 782-3516.
