On 9/2/26, the State Board's rules regarding the Cardiac Catheterization category of service were updated. The changes include revising the utilization standards, updating peer review requirements, amending physician referrals, changing the unnecessary duplication of service criterion, and establishing new accreditation standards. In addition, the rules associated with the Organ Transplant and Kidney Transplant categories of service, the Subacute Care Hospital Model, and the Children's Respite Care Center Alternative Health Care Mode were repealed. These changes will appear in the September 18th edition of the Illinois Register.

Per the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act [20 ILCS 3960/], notice is given of receipt to relinquish licensure status at an existing Ambulatory Surgery Treatment Center (ASTC) in Granite City.  Project #25-043, The Hope Clinic for Women LTD, Granite City.  Applicant: The Hope Clinic for Women, LTD.  The Applicant proposes to relinquish its licensure status at its single-specialty ASTC, located at 1602 21st Street, Granite City—project cost: $0.00.

A public hearing will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the

Granite City Council Chambers

The Hearing will begin at 1:00 PM.

The public may also submit written comments on this project. All public written comments must be received by December 26, 2025. HFSRB will post its findings in an HFSRB Staff Report, which will be available online on December 31, 2025. The public may submit written responses in support of or in opposition to the findings of the HFSRB staff.
