LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND OPPORTUNITY FOR WRITTEN COMMENT

In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, Notice is given of the receipt of a change of ownership Application (#E-005-20 – Pipeline West Suburban Medical Center, 3 Erie Court, Oak Park, Illinois). The Applicants (Pipeline Health System, LLC, Pipeline- West Suburban Medical Center, LLC, and SRC Hospital Investments, LLC) propose a corporate restructuring of Pipeline-West Suburban Medical Center, a licensed 234-bed acute care hospital. The transaction will result in Pipeline Health System, LLC having ultimate control of a licensed health care facility. The owner of the property is West Suburban Property Holdings, LLC. The transaction is expected to close by March 31, 2020

The Public Hearing is to be held by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board pursuant to the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act. The Hearing is open to the public and will afford an opportunity for parties at interest to present written and/or verbal comment relevant to the project. All allegations or assertions should be relevant to the need for the proposed project and be supported with two copies of documentation or materials that are preferably printed or typed on paper size 8 1/2" by 11".

The Public Hearing will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Park Public Library, Veterans Meeting Room, 834 Lake Street, Oak Park, Illinois. 

The Application was deemed complete on January 15, 2020. The proposed change of ownership Application is tentatively scheduled for the February 25, 2020 State Board Meeting to be held at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Drive, Bolingbrook, Illinois beginning at 9:00am. Any person wanting to submit written comments on this project must submit these comments by February 5, 2020.

The State Board will post its findings in a State Board Staff Report, and the report will be made available via the internet on February 11, 2020. The public may submit written responses in support of or in opposition to the findings of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board to the address below. The public will have until 9:00 am, February 18, 2020, to submit written responses.
