E-011-21 Woodlake Specialty Hospital Public Hearing

NOTICE OF REVIEW AND OPPORTUNITY FOR WRITTEN COMMENT

In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act, notice is given of the receipt of a Revised Exemption Application to establish Woodlake Specialty Hospital LLC, 1225 West Lake Street, Melrose Park, Illinois (f/n/a Westlake Hospital).  The Applicants are Woodlake Pacific Holdings LLC and Woodlake Specialty Hospital LLC.  The revision will add 3 medical surgical beds and reduce the intensive beds to 3 beds.  

The acute care hospital will have 80 acute mental illness beds, 60 long term care beds, 44 long term acute care beds, 3 intensive care beds, 3 medical surgical beds and 40 comprehensive physical rehabilitation beds, for a total of 230 authorized beds. Woodlake Specialty Hospital will treat all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. The cost of the project is $43,392,895.  The anticipated completion date is December 31, 2022.
