LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

AND OPPORTUNITY FOR WRITTEN COMMENT

In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act and 77 Illinois Adm. Code Part 1130, Notice is given of a Public Hearing on an application for permit for the proposed establishment of Quincy Medical Group Hospital, Inc. a 28-bed hospital located at 3347 Quincy Mall, Quincy, Illinois  from Quincy Medical Group Hospital, Inc., and Quincy Physicians & Surgeons, S.C. d/b/a Quincy Medical Group (Project #20-044).  The Applicants propose to establish a 28-bed Acute Care Hospital.  The total estimated project cost is $61,142,058.

The Public Hearing is to be held by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board pursuant to the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act.  The Hearing is open to the public and will afford an opportunity for parties at interest to present verbal and or written comments relevant to the project.  All allegations or assertions should be relevant to the need for the proposed project.   

The Public Hearing will be conducted VIRTUALLY (WEBEX Online Meeting) on January 12, 2021 from 1:30pm-2:30pm.

This project is tentatively scheduled to be heard at the May 4, 2021 State Board Meeting.  Written Comments on this project MUST be received by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board no later than April 14, 2021.
