LEGAL NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

AND OPPORTUNITY FOR WRITTEN COMMENT

In accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act and 77 Illinois Adm. Code Part 1130, Notice is given of a Public Hearing on an application for permit for the proposed establishment of Quincy Medical Group Hospital, Inc. a 28-bed hospital located at 3347 Quincy Mall, Quincy, Illinois from Quincy Medical Group Hospital, Inc. (Project #20-044). The Applicants propose to establish a 28-bed Acute Care Hospital. The total estimated project cost is $61,142,058.

This application for permit has been modified with the addition of Quincy Physicians & Surgeons Clinic, PLLC d/b/a Quincy Medical Group as an applicant and this addition is considered a Type A Modification.  Quincy Physicians & Surgeons Clinic, S.C. d/b/a Quincy Medical Group is no longer considered an Applicant.  

The Public Hearing is to be conducted by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board pursuant to the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act.  The Hearing is open to the public and will afford an opportunity for parties at interest to present written and/or verbal comment relevant to the project.  All allegations or assertions should be relevant to the need for the proposed project. Written comments can be submitted to DPH.HFSRB.PublicHearings@illinois.gov

The Public Hearing will be conducted VIRTUALLY on Friday March 18, 2022, beginning at 9:00 AM and concluding at 11:00 AM.

This Application for Permit has been tentatively scheduled for the April 26, 2022, State Board Meeting.  Written Comments on this project will be accepted until Wednesday April 6, 2022. The State Board Staff Report will be posted on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Comments on the State Board Staff Report will be accepted until 9:00 am on Monday April 18, 2022.
