On 9/2/26, the State Board's rules regarding the Cardiac Catheterization category of service were updated. The changes include revising the utilization standards, updating peer review requirements, amending physician referrals, changing the unnecessary duplication of service criterion, and establishing new accreditation standards. In addition, the rules associated with the Organ Transplant and Kidney Transplant categories of service, the Subacute Care Hospital Model, and the Children's Respite Care Center Alternative Health Care Mode were repealed. These changes will appear in the September 18th edition of the Illinois Register.

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT

By the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act (20 ILCS 3960), notice is given of receipt of a request for a public hearing for the establishment of NorthPointe Neighborhood Hospital, 5625 East Rockton Road, Roscoe, Illinois (Project #24-018). The cost of the establishment is approximately $21,974,716. 

The Applicants have submitted a Type A Modification increasing the cost of the establishment to $21,974,716 and adding a co-applicant (NorthPointe Health NFP Corporation dba NorthPointe Neighborhood Hospital). 

A public hearing will be conducted by the Staff of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, beginning at 2:00 pm at the Roscoe Township Community Center at Founders Park located at 4562 Hononegah Road, Roscoe, IL.

The hearing is an open public meeting at which all parties at interest will be allowed to present written and/or verbal comments relevant to the project.  Allegations or assertions should be relevant to the need for the proposed project and be supported with two copies of documentation or materials that are preferably printed or typed on 8½" by 11" paper.
